The Cyclones rallied from 4 goals down, scoring 5 unanswered goals and stunning the Levittown LunaChics Saturday at Cunningham Park. The girls had played the LunaChics evely, but the Levittown shots were finding the net and the Cyclones were not. Midway into the game the LunaChics had opened up a 5 to 1 lead. Then Dana caught fire.
Dana, who has had an outstanding indoor season, scored 4 times in the game and 3 times during the comeback. She is among the leaue leaders with 17 goals in the season. Jamie & Jenna also added goals as the Cyclones put on a furious comeback and won the game 6-5. Lisa S shutout the "chics" during the second half with strong support from her defense.
It was a great show of spirit for a team that had lost 5 games in a row and looked like they were on there way to a 6th loss.
The win put the Cyclones record at 4 wins and 5 losses on the season, with a chance to get to an even .500 mark when they play the season finale vs Rockville Centre.
